The album's title, Ha’angana, translates directly in English to "Cheers to the Chiefs," a nod of respect to family elders, immigrant struggles, and the pillars of community. Featuring rich instrumentation, soulful harmonies, and uplifting grooves reminiscent of reggae greats like UB40 and Lucky Dube, the record balances themes of heartfelt romance with the raw realities of everyday life and economic grind.
